Would I do it all over again? Absolutely! Caspian was described exactly as he is. I was searching for a horse for a long time and it’s sad how many are misrepresented. It was a relief when I met Caspian at Copperstone Equestrian and he was exactly as described. Height, temperament, health, training and condition all accurate. How smooth of a ride he is was spot on! Most importantly he was advertised as SAFE and he truly is! He’s amazing!
Scheduling a showing was quick and easy. Rachel responded immediately and we were able to see him that same week. Her barn is beautiful and well kept. She gave us a tour and also showed us the feed room and all the feed and supplements. The horses there are well taken care of.
The sale process was professional. Rachel was knowledgeable, reliable with communication, on time, honest and very informative. She’s even gone above and beyond to give me advice months later when I needed help learning, as I’m not only a beginner rider, but also a first-time horse owner.
We had our vet come out for the PPE and Rachel was a huge help. She was basically the vet’s assistant that day! She knows her stuff! Once Caspian passed his PPE, Rachel arranged for transportation and had it all lined up to be delivered. The transportation person’s truck broke down the day of delivery but Rachel was able to quickly find someone else who was exceptional! Caspian was delivered to us safely and on time and we couldn’t be happier! We absolutely adore him!
I highly recommend Copperstone Equestrian for a reliable, trustworthy source to find your horse!
Rachel at Copperstone Equestrian was super to deal with. She was professional and honest. She sold my horse within weeks at a very satisfactory price. It was seamless and painless. I would highly recommend Copperstone to buy or sell a horse.
I would definitely buy a horse from Copperstone Equestrian again and any time.
Audi was advertised accurately as far as height, condition and training. Moreover, Rachel knew the horse’s personality and matched it with mine.
Audi was priced fairly.
The farm responded to my inquiry right away and the sales process was diligent and supportive. She worked with my schedule and went the extra mile to take Audi out of the property for a lesson in Ocala before I committed for the purchase.
Audi was well behaved in a new environment. I had a jumping lesson that proved his good training and willingness to jump.
My vet was welcome to examine Audi.
After the purchase, Copperstone Equestrian remained committed to support me in my quest for progress. I am a better horseman and rider with my partner Audi now.
A Milestone: I have been able to go fox hunting and cross country schooling for the first time with Audi.

For anyone looking to buy a horse I cannot recommend Rachel Quires at Copperstone Equestrian more highly. I was in the market for an Akhal-Teke this year and not only did I buy one (Kestrel)- I bought two (added on Caladesi): The decision to buy Caladesi was largely a result of the fair price, honest assessment of Kestrel’s personality and current skill set, and the excellent care that had obviously been given to Kestrel. I can honestly say that I believe I have one of the most beautiful Akhal-Teke mares in the country with exquisite movement and potential for dressage and endurance. Caladesi is not only a proven breeder, at four years of age, he has already begun introductory dressage training and trail rides. Not only is he gorgeous with the physical conformation needed to be competitive in many disciplines, he has one of the best horse brains I’ve come across. Kestrel and Caladesi were the first out-of state horse purchases I had made, and Rachel helped arrange shipment and talked me through the process. Caladesi was also the first stallion I had bought, and Rachel continues to be an information resource I reach out to from time to time. My riding coach says I really lucked out with my horse purchases- but I also lucked out in coming across Rachel. If I am looking for a horse in the future- I would turn to her first!
